Bandera Dance Rally

The dance rally has started and we are having a good time. There are about 130 of us, all ready for the dance lessons in the day and dancing our feet off every night. Wow! Life is good.

There is always a good turnout for the dance lessons.

Our dance instructors, Betty and Troy.
But sometimes there are not enough men. Jane takes the men's part to show me a step.

And there are always spectators.

Ronnie Furr provides our music in the evenings. You can get more information by checking out his website: www.ronniefurr.com

We get a large hot breakfast every morning. This year Joel is in charge of all the menus, arranging for the cooks and making sure breakfast gets made. My hat's off to you Joel. Good job.

Getting ready to start serving.

Enjoying the meal.

We had a Tacky Prom Dance and boy did we get some tacky prom dressing. But not everyone was tacky. Here are some I thought were belle of the ball.

And here is myself and Max. You can't see it, but I had my boots on. It just made my outfit.

More of the wonderful prom attire.

And more....

Joyce sure was having fun.

And so were Doc and Janet.

We did some line dancing too.

Who says seniors don't know how to have fun!

I don't know - I think you look way too pretty to be tacky.
