We happened to be in the area just in time for Nascar's race at Chicagoland.

The day before the races it rained and everything was muddy.  We weren't even sure the races would be held because rain was still forcast.

But we took our chances and bought tickets anyway.

Even Great Clips supports Nascar.

Weather the day of race was very cooperative.  It was nice and sunny and warm.

Someday it would be fun to reserve a spot on the infield for a race.

We had the fly-by put on by the  Commemorative Air Force.

And we are racing.

And today, Brad Keselowski wins the race.
