Goshen, IN and surrounding area.

We arrived in Goshen too late for any tours or museums, so we went to Middlebury and Essenhaus instead.
The complex has not only a convention center and old time village, but a covered bridge as well.

But the main purpose was dinner. A family style dinner of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, noodles, bread stuffing, green beans and homemade bread with homemade apple butter. Plus dessert of your choice. Yum.

Back at the Moose Lodge, Fancy thinks she can catch the gopher which keeps popping up to torment her. She didn't catch the gopher, but she did catch a chipmunk (her second in a week). I think I have a killer dog now.

The Moose Lodge in Goshen has an RV park around the lake with a beach, beach bar, tennis courts, miniature golf and a playground. You can paddle the lake or fish too.

We toured the Newmar plant. 85% of their employees are Amish. They work 'piece meal', which means they can go home as soon as their work is completed and the quality control has signed off. Usually they are gone by noon, so we were glad we had a morning tour and got to see them working.

Then it was on to the RV/MH Hall of Fame. I have seen displays of vintage and antique campers before, but never so many in one place.

Even the Three Bears were there.

You can look down over the vintage displays from the 2nd floor.

Haven't we all been there at some point?
